UNCCD 11th session of the Conference of the Parties in Windhoek, Namibia (16 – 27 September)

The UNCCD eleventh session of the Conference of the Parties (COP11) has opened today under the theme “A stronger UNCCD for a Land-Degradation Neutral World.” The theme marks the progress the Parties to the Convention made under the 10-Year Strategy and encourages further action for its successful implementation during the latter half of the Strategy period.
World Vision Australia Natural Resources Advisor and FMNR pioneer Tony Rinaudo will attend the conference to receive the Land for Life Award for World Vision Australia’s FMNR work. Follow the events on our blog.
