Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration

Following the promising results that FMNR is having on the field, World Vision Timor-Leste will be hosting a national conference on FMNR in Dili on 7 and 8 April 2014.

It will be a great opportunity to learn more about Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration and its success stories in the local districts of Aileu and Bobonaro, share experiences on agroforestry development projects and evaluate the opportunities for the future.

A short documentary about the implementation of FMNR in Timor-Leste was presented to the participants on the the first day of the conference. After only two years since the inception of the BRACCE project the local population has already understood the benefits of sustainable natural resources management.
