Does the United Arab Emirates’ soil hide green paradises?

How about if we are walking and living on buried, yet alive forests laying beneath our feet, as we have walked and lived for centuries over buried cities, civilizations, and precious resources? The question is, in fact, not a new one. The myth of greening the desert achieved by the founder of the UAE, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nuhyan, began by wondering and searching the region’s topography. Since then, The UAE landscape has tremendously changed, and so has the life of people. The myth is not done yet. An innovative perspective is promising to uncover an underground “green gold” waiting only to be released.
