FMNR was pioneered by Tony Rinaudo from World Vision Australia over 35 years ago. It’s the practice of selectively pruning existing, indigenous shrubs and tree stumps to accelerate re-growth.

It’s far more cost effective, and less time consuming than planting trees – which is why it has the support of the farmers who practise it.
